The all-new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback arrives soon at Granby Toyota

Starting this summer, we will have the pleasure to see the all-new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback arrive at Toyota dealerships across Quebec, and we can't wait. This model of the thirty-year-old car will replace the 2018 Corolla iM, and frankly, with all of its new features and its great look, we expect to see it often and for a long time on the streets of Granby, Cowansville and Saint-Hyacinthe.

Definitely sportier than its sibling, the 2019 Corolla Hatchback is even more dynamic, thanks to among others, a powertrain with more bite, namely the all-new 2.0-litre, direct injection 4-cylinder engine, in comparison with the 1.6-litre engine of the iM. This new Dynamic Force Engine will be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 10-speed automatic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

Assuredly more fun and responsive than its predecessor, notably with a sportier suspension, it also promises a better fuel economy. It stands on the new TNGA (Toyota New Generation Architecture) platform, which is already on the Prius, Camry and C-HR. Longer, lower and wider than the iM, it offers a decidedly more athletic allure and its hatch that tapers towards the top adds to this new aesthetic.

Beyond its new appearance, the 2019 Corolla Hatchback, soon to be seen driven around the streets of Granby, Cowansville and St-Hyacinthe in Montérégie, will be equipped with a touchscreen of 8 inches, Apple CarPlay connectivity, a cutting-edge multimedia system, and an optional 800-watt JBL sound system will be available. Safety will also be improved with the addition of the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 (TSS 2.0) system.
